Labels are managed at the organization level so all users under that organization can access them for any of their ads. Essentially these labels will be leveraged in Report Studio to find and group ads, and then slice and dice their creative information as needed.\n\nLabels can be applied on a single ad or ad mix. A user can apply labels from the following places:\n * Upon hover on the ad, you will see this Label icon\n * Folder level in Console (use the gear drop down menu)\n * Collection Panel in Console \n * Upon hover on the ad, you will see this icon Preview icon \n\nThere are two groups of Labels a user can find under All Labels which is located under *Labels* in the Console:\n\n * **Organization Labels -** these labels are created by the admin. They are only available to that specific organization.\n * **Industry Labels -** these labels are provided by Flite. They are available to all organizations.\n\nBelow is what you can expect to see in the CSV the export. The labels are comma separated per cell:\n[block:parameters]\n{\n \"data\": {\n \"h-0\": \"Labels\",\n \"0-0\": \"demo,ny_knicks,sports\"\n },\n \"cols\": 1,\n \"rows\": 1\n}\n[/block]\n\n[block:api-header]\n{\n \"type\": \"basic\",\n \"title\": \"Creating Labels\"\n}\n[/block]\n * Click on *All Labels* to create a new Label. In this view you will see all the Labels created in your app provider.\n * In the text box *Enter new label*, type the name of the Label and click Add. Your Label will be added to the alphabetically-ordered list below.\n * If new Labels need to be created, this screen is where you will manage them. You may also delete Labels if they are no longer needed. \n[block:callout]\n{\n \"type\": \"info\",\n \"title\": \"NOTE\",\n \"body\": \"Labels must be created here before being applied to items.\"\n}\n[/block]\n\n[block:image]\n{\n \"images\": [\n {\n \"image\": [\n \"https://www.filepicker.io/api/file/vfT5MyVGRQaIG4YZHWuj\",\n \"create-label+2.png\",\n \"710\",\n \"246\",\n \"\",\n \"\"\n ]\n }\n ]\n}\n[/block]\n\n[block:api-header]\n{\n \"type\": \"basic\",\n \"title\": \"Label Sets\"\n}\n[/block]\n\n[block:image]\n{\n \"images\": [\n {\n \"image\": [\n \"https://www.filepicker.io/api/file/ioB57j2iSSucGIIv1G32\",\n \"labelset.png\",\n \"500\",\n \"913\",\n \"#d6503a\",\n \"\"\n ],\n \"caption\": \"Label Sets in the Console Sidebar\"\n }\n ]\n}\n[/block]\nFlite has introduced the feature of Label Sets. Organize your labels by grouping them into a label set. This separates labels out into a specific label set collection that you can choose from when applying your labels to an ad. In a csv export, you will see an ad's labels in a label set column. Users can create as many Label Sets as needed to fulfill their reporting requirements as well as have ‘x’ amount of Labels variables populating a Label Set.\n\n * Label Sets are a way to group your Labels. Similar to Labels that group items such as ads, Label Sets create a collection of your Labels. \n * In the illustration you can see the list of Label Sets created under All Labels. Examples are Brand, Business Unit, Ad Type etc. Under each of these Label sets you will find a collection of Labels.\n\nA user creates variables under a Label Set, applies these Labels on an ad and the output in the CSV shows one label per row as opposed to what you see above (See example of Labels above).\n\nUsing Label Sets will empower the end user to pivot and create hierarchies for drill downs in their report creation.\n\nIn the example below I’ve created a *Label Set* named Sports Teams:\n[block:parameters]\n{\n \"data\": {\n \"h-0\": \"Sports Team\",\n \"0-0\": \"ny_knicks\",\n \"1-0\": \"sf_giants\",\n \"2-0\": \"nj_devils\"\n },\n \"cols\": 1,\n \"rows\": 3\n}\n[/block]\n\n[block:api-header]\n{\n \"type\": \"basic\",\n \"title\": \"Creating a Label Set\"\n}\n[/block]\n1. Click on *All Labels*. You will see the *Add Label Set* button on the right side. By clicking on that button, it will prompt you to name that Label Set just like the ones you see on the left side.\n2. Now that you have a Label Set created, you can add Labels inside it by typing in your Label Name in the text field *Enter New Label* and click on *Add to Label Set*. You will see it appear in your Label Set below.\n[block:callout]\n{\n \"type\": \"info\",\n \"title\": \"NOTE\",\n \"body\": \"In this example the Label set is BRAND and the Labels are GRAPEFRUIT, ORANGE, and PEAR.\"\n}\n[/block]\n\n[block:image]\n{\n \"images\": [\n {\n \"image\": [\n \"https://www.filepicker.io/api/file/BHSnRarQzuSBhhpJhO6w\",\n \"create-label-set+2.png\",\n \"710\",\n \"302\",\n \"#6a9bb4\",\n \"\"\n ]\n }\n ]\n}\n[/block]","excerpt":"","slug":"console-using-labels","type":"basic","title":"Using Labels"}
